CCTV Software generic alarm protocol
CCTV Software generic alarm protocol is an effective way of generating alarms in the Camfunction range of products using a simple ASCII based protocol.
You can adapt your own alarm handling software / equipment to form a link and raise alarms in Camfunction.
You can also configure dedicated hardware (such as access control equipment) to send simple generic alarm protocol to Camfunction (hardware must be configurable to send user definable strings on event occurence)
The 'CCTV Software generic alarm protocol' can be transmitted using TCP/IP, DDE or serial (RS232) communications.

Camfunction IP Monitoring - DDE link for alarm panel protocol forwarding
Our IP Monitoring software is compatible with several manufacturers alarm devices.
The protocol data that is received from those devices can be passed on to your own software using a simple DDE mechanism.

PC Multiplexer Range - 3rd party search facility
You can use TCP/IP networking to form a link to our PC Multiplexer Range of software, and then
issue time and date search command using our simple ASCII based protocol. PC Multiplexer will respond with JPEG
picture data relevent to the enquiry. Further commands provide skip frame forward and backward functionality.
